I am extremely delighted to present a comprehensive profile of budding managers, groomed in an institution with a distinct caliber, where dedication and innovation is the philosophy and the process of continuous learning and research is a way of life.

Faculty of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University completed 42 years in the service of the corporate world through quality management education and research. Since its inception, the Faculty continuously added and upgraded its infrastructure and has maintained high academic standards, both through excellence in teaching as well a curriculum development to address the emerging requirements of the industry. Faculty has been identified as one of the Quality Improvement Programme Centres for imparting training programmes for teachers of business schools of the country by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). We have also been identified as Host Institution for Notional Doctoral Fellowship by AICTE. We have got the honor of becoming a Special Assistance Programme centre of DRS Level 1 by the University Grants Commission. Industry Institute Partnership Cell, Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Allahabad Bank Chair Professor, are a few other recognitions we have got for our dedicated efforts and academic excellence.

We have introduced International Business Administration programme in 1991 pioneering in the University system and launched MBA Agri. Business in the year 2007. We have also launched industry specific tailor mode programmes for corporate houses. Recently we have launched one year part time Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration for executives and entrepreneurs. The quality of education imparted is reflected in the achievements of near 3500 Alumni, who are holding senior positions in business organizations across the globe. Many hove also successfully established their own ventures. Besides, the Faculty has produced o number of Doctorates (Ph.D) in various functional areas of Management.
